It seems almost unreal to say that my time at language school is fast coming to a close. We have this week off for Semana Santa (Holy Week). Next week, I will not have classes on Wednesday, due to a national holiday. Then, I’m done next Friday, April 13. I fly to Honduras on the 14th and to Dallas on the 18th. I will spend the very short night in Dallas and continue on to San Antonio the next day.
After picking up some groceries, I will head directly to a retreat center in Mountain Home, TX. I will spend Thursday evening through Monday morning there with no schedules and no responsibilities. Three and a half days is not a long time, but I know it will be very beneficial for me.
Apart from six days in North Dakota in May, the rest of my trip will be spent in the San Antonio area. Three wonderful families have graciously opened their homes to me in San Antonio and one in North Dakota. Two families are loaning me a car to use for part of my time in San Antonio. However, I am still in need of a car to use from May 13-28. If you can help with this need, please post a comment here, send me an email, or send me a message on Facebook.
Unless there’s a family emergency, this is my last trip to the U.S. for 2012. I expect my next trip to the U.S. will be during September, 2013, and annually thereafter.
I am very much looking forward to this opportunity to rest and rejuvenate with friends and family. Please pray for safe travels and wonderful times of refreshing with God through His Holy Spirit.Thank you for your continuing prayers since the start of this wonderful journey with God.
May God bless each of you as you strive to do His will! I love you.
I urge you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to join me in my struggle by praying to God for me. -Romans 15:30 (NIV)
