It is difficult to believe that January is already over, but it is. We are a third of the way through the first trimester already! We’ve had our first exams and the students did well.
Between classes, I am continuing to develop lessons and materials for the new curriculum. I am adjusting lesson plans almost daily, based on my students. By the end of the year, I hope to have a 70 hour course for beginners that has been tested by two classes of teenage beginners. We are focusing on the A1 and A2 levels in the Common European Framework for foreign languages. I don’t know if we can complete the A2 level in just 70 hours, but we’ll definitely be making progress toward that goal.
I have started planning for my spring trip and am working on my tax return. Don’t forget to do yours! If you want me to speak to your large or small group, I will be available between April 27 and May 16 only. Please tell me now if you want me to save a date for your group.
That’s all for now. Thank you all your continuing partnership in this ministry!
Please continue to pray for an end to the violence in Honduras.

With love from Honduras,
The Lord replies, “I have seen violence done to the helpless, and I have heard the groans of the poor. Now I will rise up to rescue them, as they have longed for me to do.” -Psalm 12:5 (NLT)
