Well, I would like to say I’m done with all of my medical tests for the next few months, but I will be seeing an ENT doctor on Wednesday for evalution of a small thyroid nodule. I expect this will result in a fine needle aspiration biopsy of the nodule. I don’t know enough about thyroid nodules to speak with any degree of certainty about them. From articles I’ve read and my lab report, the indications are that the nodule should have the fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) performed and the probability of the nodule being malignant is higher for my hypoechoic nodule than it would be if the nodule were fluid-filled. Only the FNAC can tell if it is malignant. Hence, my expectation of having a FNAC.
Yes, we ourselves have had the sentence of death within ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God who raises the dead, who delivered us out of so great a death, and does deliver; on whom we have set our hope that he will also still deliver us. – 2 Corinthians 1:9-10 (WEB)
However this turns out, I will trust in God. I have set my hope in him, and I know he will deliver me. My eternal life does not depend on my physical, mental, or emotional health, but on the death, burial, and resurrection of my Savior, Jesus the Christ!
As always, your prayers are very much appreciated. My request is for God’s will to be done; for him to use me as he sees fit, through whatever circumstances he chooses.
May God richly bless each of you this week as you strive to do his will, following Jesus.
