Star’s Surgery Day

23 Jan

As Star would say – Folks –

Things went as planned today, and for that we are thankful.  The doctor is optimistic that there will be no need for further surgery, and for that we are very thankful.  The pathology report should be ready on Thursday or Friday, and Star will see the surgeon next Wednesday, the 31st.  Tonight, she is at the home of good friends who are pampering her with ice cream (which she says she has not had in a long time), and has dutifully taken her pain killers so that she can hopefully rest well.

God is good all the time, all the time God is good.    As so many of us have been blessed, encouraged, and lifted before our loving and faithful Father by Star, so now we do so for her.  For as it says in 2 Corinthians 1:3-5 “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.

Blessings to you, Star, and to all of your online family,
Lynne
